Hindustan Academy

The Academy is a registered educational society under the society act of Karnataka and has been in the forefront of training students for Civil Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License programme, teaching Aeronautical Engineering & Management Sciences and training diploma students in six engineering disciplines during the last two decades. The academy was established in 1986 in Bangalore and during the last 25 years has helped a large number of students to achieve good career positions. Through its three wings, the academy imparts quality education with focus on practical training to our students in the field of Aviation, Management and Engineering Sciences.

The academy has basically three main wings.

Hindustan Aviation Academy

The Academy conducts 3 years Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course (AME), which is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India. It has an annual intake of 120 students. The course is organized in six semesters and during the final semester students are sent for practical training to reputed airlines. On completion of six semesters and after clearing three DGCA examinations students are awarded the Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (BAMEL) which qualify them for employment in Civil Airlines.

Civil Aviation Authority issues certificates of Airworthiness to private and commercial aircraft which are in fully serviceable condition at all times. To certify that maintenance is carried out on aircraft and it is fully serviceable, only qualified persons called Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, who are issued with license in a particular category by the Civil Aviation Dept, are only allowed. The academy prepare the students to appear for different categories of the DGCA examinations, in the “Mechanical” And “Avionics” stream.

Hindustan Electronics Academy – HEA Polytechnic3

Courses conducted by HEA polytechnic leads to Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka and All Example content imageIndia Council for Technical Education, Govt. of India. The semester examinations are conducted by the Board of Technical Examinations, Govt. of Karnataka. After successful completion of 3 year Diploma courses, students become eligible to get admission directly to 2nd year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) courses conducted by approved Universities.

Hindustan Business School

The Hindustan Business School, affiliated by Bangalore University, conducts three years BBM (Bachelor of Business Management) with an annual intake of 60 students. The BBM Course will equip the student with the appropriate knowledge and skills needed to become a successful manager. Being a Manager is one of the most challenging and exciting jobs available now. The course aims to provide the student with an experience, which reflects these challenges. We consciously integrate practice and theory and concentrate on developing the skills that the students need to function effectively in a demanding business environment.

In addition to the teaching imparted by qualified and experienced staff, a series of Guest Lectures and Seminars by experienced managers from various industries are arranged to provide the students with the latest trend in the business world. We have well developed infrastructure and library facilities, which are expanded every year. Access to Internet facilities is also available. Students are not only encouraged to excel in academics but also to take active part in sports, cultural and other extra curricular activities. Our focus is on overall development of students.
